If you don't watched this Korean soap on Channel 8 on Mondays at about 11+pm, do. It's really quite funny and I could somewhat relate to it. It's like about this rich pampered girl who married this poor, maybe not poor but average kinda guy and this whole thing about their problems they face like the in laws and all. Her in laws love her and treat her like Empress Dowager. Guess this is the sort of happy ending soap that will bring the family very close in the end, and in order for that to happen, somehow in another few episode someone in the family will probably be sick or someone gets lost or something.
And I do think I behave like that pampered girl, although I'm not rich. :D.. Hopefully I'd be blessed with in laws that treats me like the Dowager too. kakakaka...
Now I understand why teenagers like to watch Moulmein High, and the somewhat chi-chi wannabe grown up, sophisticated undergraduate wouldn't be caught dead watching it.
Anyway, of a different note, I was just wondering, do you guys like talk to yourself very often? Since young I'm the sort of girl who will imagine all sorts of scenario and will talk to myself. Like even as I walk on the streets and something happen, I'd imagine it to be me and I'll you know, just.... talk? Like I saw this worker watering the plants and spraying it all over and got some into passers-by and I just started to imagine if it's me what will I do and say and shit. And like on Sunday when Ping got rammed into by some young punk on stuntbike overtaking while she was skating, I thought of all the shit I would have said to him if I had another chance.
Am I weird, or do you guys do that too?
Anyway, off to MacDonald's to have a cone with my sis, who rarely wants to step out of the house. Sister duty la, what to do. Doesn't matter that I've got a 20 chapter closed book test on Thursday la. :P
And remember to help me sell my skates.
well, life is full of shit

I went back to AJC today for it's band camp. Could not clique with the youngbies and din really talk but it feels good to touch a horn after so long. Cannot pitch the notes I used to be able to reach anymore, and the tone is like crap. But who can help it. The last time I touched a horn, it was around October 2000.
Pretty good memories flooded as I walk around the school with Michelle. But anyway life is always like this, when you reach a new stage in your life, you'd feel that the old one is awww so nice and when you return to that place and changes have been done, you'd think that nah it's no good, last time was better. That sort of thing.
I bet 3 years down the road when I walk down the new City campus of SMU along Bras Basah road, I'd think, Bukit Timah campus's serenity and cosiness is better than the city buzz.
But who can help it? It's only human.

THE ART OF COMPLAINING
Never knew the art of complaining. It works!
I've got the tertiary EZlink card and suddenly one day out of the blue it just decided to have "Software error". While I tried very hard to explain the bus driver, he gave me that kinda 'u no money to pay isit' look that pissed me off. Worst part, I seriously had no coins and my smallest note was $10. How very lucky. So I sat through a free ride, technically not because I've already paid for the monthly concession. Brought it to the transitlink offices and all gave me that unsymphathetic look and said the same thing:
"Girl your card is spoilt, you have to go to Buona Vista."
I mean, what so Great about that place? 1st of all it is inconvenient, somewhere that people in the north, east and central will probably never step to. Why couldn't they have an office like in City Hall, where it is an interchange? Totally unsatisfied, yours truly wrote an ultra long letter of disappointment.. kakakaka... In the end they called me up and allowed me to leave my EZlink at any MRT station I fancy.
Seriously, that should be the way. And they promised to refund me a month's worth of concession on top of the free replacement. Let's hope so.
I HATE NTU
Before you click the [give me some views] at the bottom and scream at me, listen hard. I meant the bowling team. Snobbish arses. NTU Invitational bowl opened to ALL tertiary institutions and JCs too, but somehow manage to forget about our school. And when I was so totally dissatisfied with their bulging ego, nice ol' Synapseman wrote to them to express the displeasure, which was of course not as hostile as I hoped it will be. Amazingly they too, pissed off their own people.
And they replied us saying
"Frankly my committee members were very surprised to hear of SMU interest in the invitation event. Indeed it will be an honour for us to have SMU join us in this event. Hopefully it will lead to more combined fun for both the institutions. "
yesyesyes.
No shit man! Yes yes, you guys are so great. We're just a new kid on the block that are rather empty but makes too much noise.

I was just talking about car and I just found out that some idiot hit and run Michelle's car. And the worse part is that it is in SMU, but near the sports complex where many members of the public go there too. There is a big dent on the poor car with scratches. I'm not a very good consoler, so I couldn't say much to help, but really, damn that person. It's a new car somemore.

Joshua just told me he is accepted into Waseda University, Tokyo for a 1 year exchange programme. Sponsored by the JCCI! Lucky chap! All expense paid, airtix, accomodation PLUS allowance during the whole year. No shit man. I'm like so freaking jealous. Here I am trying all means and ways to get money and he gets it all FREE!!!
If I get to go Canada, I can probably take a plane that stopover at Tokyo and go there for a few day to visit him on my way back in January. Idea eh.

Watched the breakdance trials for NDP yesterday with Larry yesterday at the Youth Park. He din wanna join though. His friend was telling him to "for the pride for the nation". But seriously, it's a little crappy. Not the performing for NDP, but what his friend said. For pride for nation is not to breakdance on the stage during NDP for about 1 minute. It's about being part of the parade squad, in your no. 1. That, my friend is call pride for the nation.

Went skating today. Was surfing around the net and found out things about bearings maintenence. Guess as much. After spending close to $300 on a pair of skates, the least I can do is to take care of it. So I have decided to bookmark the site and faithfully lubricate and wash my bearings...
Found out that the wrist guard that I bought is a fake S. The box says S but stupid me did not check and it's a M and waaayyy too big. Hopefully I can psycho my bro to take over the guards so that I can buy a Salomon handslider instead. The one with the gel thingy. *slurps*
I hate the way when I am suddenly obsess with a sport, I keep wanting more and more accessories. Like bowling, I wanted a new roller bag, new guards after buying new shoes and new ball. But at least I am not giving it up yet. Still quite happy with it..
Now come my obsession with skating. :(
Hope with obsession comes reduction - in fats.

Do I Look FiFtEeN??????
I went to watch About Schmidt which is apparently NC-16 and the auntie at Plaza Singapura ask for my freaking IC.
Nothing went RIGHT -->
1. Go Plaza Singapura for Daimaru sale
2. Wanted to eat elsewhere but was raining
3. Ate and went to Taka to look for Ping's blades
4. Ping bought her shoe bag.
5. Went Adidas boutique to buy my Salomon bag.
6. Guy say here (Taka) don't have. Try PS
7. Went PS again.
8. Close already.
9. Knock on their door
10. Don't have
11. Went City Link
12. On the way there found out that Ping's shoe bag is wrong color.
13. Too late to go back Taka.
14. Found 2 coupons for free cake and coffee @ Burkes.
15. Flew down to Raffles Place
16. Closed
17. Waited for bus home
18. Bus not in service at that time (those service that goes diff places at diff times)
19. Walk to another freaking bus stop
20. On the bus, found out that the woman did not remove the security tag thing from my Salomon bag!
Bad day...
