tell me why why why ever since the exams period i start feeling so sleepy i can sleep for hours and hours and hours it is really quite amazing how books can make one this sleepy and make one have such great wishes to head downstairs into the kitchen and look into the fridge for something to eat even if food just came an hour ago or switch on the computer to check mail when there could not be anything that important which requires immediate actions tell me why why why does the television programme suddenly all look so appealing when i don't watch tv tell me why why why i suddenly have so many things which i seem to need and want to do but yet not able to do because of the darn exam and tell me why why why i am not studying and updating this blog as if it is the most important task in this world tell me why why why my exams is tommorrow and i am still online.

anyway ping has not been studying and went all about singapore to buy a pair of reef slippers as if it is the most important thing she can ahieve i guess since she thinks she won't do that well already might as well achieve something in life and in the end she manage to buy up the last pair of reef slippers in the color and size she wants in singapore and proud of it she is and so am i for you all the glory and pride bleems can you see it just don't sit beside me tommorrow :D

Anatomy has always been my interest, though not exactly the bravest soul on Earth, I'm one of those who wouldn't cringe that dissection but be truly amazed by it during Secondary School.

A potential ego post to some, but indeed truly entertaining
Triggered off by what someone said - I am full of surprises. And why? That's because I keep changing my hair color, till a point where it is really no surprise to see something different everytime. And really different.
And guess what, I have to embarrassingly agree.
Just for fun, this is a tribute to the many hair colors I have done.
The timeline of my hair, as far as I could remember.
I obviously was borned with black hair. During JC, it was those mahagony brown days, hence not that worth posting.
When I was about to become a freshie, during convo (hence the initiation period, here was my hair. Pretty ugly, really, but what to do.
Then I became a freshman official, and my hair was bleached orange streaks by a friend, as below.
When I then became friends with Ping and developed the friendship, we soon realised our fetish for hair colors and hence went to get ash blonde hair with ash streaks.
Ping, decided to be a packet of french fries.
And alas, see my hair condition after the few bleaches.
So after a while we decided that being too blonde was too loud. (Seriously it's 2 blondes we are talking about, friends say they can never miss us in the crowd, ZP even mumbled AH LIAN under her breathe when she was walking towards us not knowing it was her friends she was mumbling about). Hence, blue black hair.
It faded off within weeks and I was back to my blondie status. Undeterred, I tried to change. Now to deep red with orange and red streaks. Was, really quite red.
Reds don't last, I realised. It faded to some brownish blonde color (AGAIN!) So to touch up the roots, I simply bought off drugstore shelves, some blonde or brown or whatever color dye.
Around that time, dear ZP was kinda also affected by this hair coloring frenzy, just as we were about to warn her about the mee sua sydrome, she bleached her whole head too. HAI!
Anyway, after that, I sought new hairdo again and tried to have purplish deep tone with pink underneaths. Picture below is of an already faded pink --> orange bottom. But the idea was there.
Finally decided to be a Chinese again, I dyed my hair jet black. And this lasted for the whole summer plus my 3rd year 1st semster. Was quite a hit, people loved to see me au natural I guess. Dunno.
But finally sian of it, I colored my hair again, this time, inspired by the paint-drop-on-the-head look. A failed pink, turned copper red-orange, but fundamentally black.
What a colorful world.

People has been msging me like what present I would like to have cos they really want to buy me something nice for this big year. But to be honest, apart from this particular fetish I have, there is seriously nothing much I need. I have been scratching my head far and long for something I might want, but I can't think of much either.
And my fetish is pretty expensive, well, I suppose. It is what every girl needs, IMHO. Who says Diamonds are a girl's best friend? Maybe in a few years time, but now, PS2 is a girl's best friend.
And on top of that, I really really wish I can have wireless lan at home, so that I can play FFXI online wirelessly, effortlessly.
I already figured out how to get the wireless thing, since Starhub is having a promo right now. I'd ditch Singnet and change to Starhub especially once my contract is over. In the meantime, it's really quite okay to move the modem upstairs and use DSL.
And I suppose after I get a PS2 and wireless lan, I'd really love a plasma TV in my room, cos it's really not very big.
But it's really gonna be one after the other.
1st: PS2
2nd: Wireless
3rd: Plasma TV
Cos the latter has no use if the formal is not fulfilled.
Oh boy oh boy, how thou shalt make my day.

Congratulations roommie
Now officially hired by Starhub, so we will be working together during the holidays! Welcome to the world of hubbers. And guess what? During her interview, Mr Mike remembers us "at the top of his memory", the 3 of us. hiakhiakhiak. Do we really, erm, stand out? Hahaha..
And I wonder if he will find out I helped him sign off as Mickey Mouse at the mobile roadshow last week.

My roommate's all hyped up and totally addicted to blogging, just as I was about a year or 2 back.
Ramblings? All silly, shallow ones, but whines are whines so listen up.
Well, first of all - exams. Not that this exam matters much, as it is merely an exchange programme, I'm graded with pass/fail, and passing doesn't seem much of a problem. But this whole i've-got-exams sure brings me da bluez.
Then I have to pack up and go home. Luckily for me I've brought back bits and pieces back home, but there's still quite a bit to move and I hate the part of packing up and loading into a car. Talk about how sian it will be to drive down the lonely really long stretch of PIE all the way to Jalan Bahar. And where will all these things go in my house? The last time I check, I don't think I need 3 pillows and 2 bolsters.
Then silly birthday. I decided on a simple dinner inspired by Zhi Ping, minus the relatives. Just friends. Who cares if my secondary school friends do not know my JC friends? Or Uni friends? It's my day right. :) But well, anyway it's decided then. Saturday evening my house. All who reads this are invited to come.
And lastly, I think next sem sucks. :( All I will see is Finance Finance Finance... :X

being dumb
This is kinda complicated to type.
To make things short, i wanted to do double major in Finance and Economics. The requirement is taking extra 2 modules on top of the usual 35, provided my business options (a category of the modules lah, which is 3 subjects) all take the econs modules. & I got to take some global regional thingy too.
But basically i misread the requirement and thought it was EITHER 2 biz options + Global regional thing or 3 biz options, so I used up one of my biz options in ntu call retail marketing. Which, FYI, I did a shitload of work. Like never worked so hard in my life. And it will be redundant. Not accounted for.
So my point? If I decide to continue the double major, I got to squeeze 5 modules for the next 3 semsters, which 5, is very heavyload considering the specialised disgusting stuff it involves. Stuff like Corporate Reporting, Corporate Finance and friends, Applied Econmetrics (wtf), Public Sector economics, and friends.
Alternatively, I can screw the 2nd major and focus on Finance, if that being so I will need to forgo my summer holidays and take 2 summer term modules next year but be able to graduate half a year earlier.
Alternatively, I can still grad in 4 years, but I will be taking 3.5,4,4 modules. Which sounds pretty lame too. 3.5? Get my point?
Also, I have to do internship of 10 weeks, so if I have to take 2 summer subjects, I don't know when to take my internship. After graduation? It might be possible to be 5 weeks this December, 5 weeks next December, but that means I have totally no break, no life. This sem work, study, then summer term, then study again, then intern, then graduate.
So there, I am not sure what my decision should be. It's hard to live for the moment at times, this one I have to live for the next 1.5 years, as any silly mistakes = screwing up more.
(In short, should I

2. Take just 1 major
a. in 3.5 years?
b. in 4 years?
